In 1974, Dale and Dixie Wege of Hoyt, KS built a store at their residence and began selling feed to the community and surrounding area.  The need to expand arose and in 1991, they purchased the Holton location. In 2000, the next generation took over as Kenny and Donna Wege purchased the business from Kenny's parents. 

After running a successful business for many years, Ethan and Sierra Phillips purchased the Holton feed store. The Hoyt location was closed effective 7/31/2023. Ethan and Sierra decided to name the store Greenacres Feed and Farm Supply, LLC after the Phillips Greenacres family farm that is now submerged under what is now Tuttle Creek Lake in Manhattan, KS.  Ethan and Sierra grew up in and around Jackson County, they then went to Kansas State University where they both received degrees in Agriculture.  Ethan and Sierra are excited to bring new, young blood to the feed business.
